Responsibilities

  • Perform patient check in/out procedures and update EMR with demographic/insurance information.
  • Collect outstanding copays and balances.
  • Coordinate with patients, insurance companies, and providers for authorizations and record updates.
  • Prepare charts for appointments and process medical records requests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is required.
  • Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics is strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Satisfactory background check including driving, criminal, employment, education, and social security.
