Responsibilities
- Perform patient check in/out procedures and update EMR with demographic/insurance information.
- Collect outstanding copays and balances.
- Coordinate with patients, insurance companies, and providers for authorizations and record updates.
- Prepare charts for appointments and process medical records requests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum one year of administrative medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is required.
- Experience in Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine, or Orthopedics is strongly preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Satisfactory background check including driving, criminal, employment, education, and social security.
