The Role: Project and Program Management Coordinator
We are looking to hire a Project and Program Management Coordinator to support the Surface Transportation (ATS) Research Centre. The successful candidate must share our core values of integrity, excellence, respect, and creativity.
The Coordinator supports project and program management activities by working closely with Project Managers, R&D Directors, Program Leads, and Senior Project Managers, providing expertise on practices, systems, and tools to ensure effective project and program tracking and management. Specifically, the individual will open, maintain, and close projects in SAP, ensure the smooth execution of project and program management and performance (tracking and reporting), and ensure the rigor of operational practices, systems, tools, and project and program data.
Key Requirements
Education
College diploma with courses in project management or a relevant field. An equivalent combination of relevant work experience, training, and education may also be considered.
Experience
- Significant experience supporting project management in a research and development (R&D) environment, including: collecting information and updating project data; updating project-related forms, templates, and tools; and producing project reports.
- Experience managing program key performance indicators.
- Significant experience using Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Significant experience adopting best practices in project management.
- Experience providing advice and/or training to colleagues.
- Experience managing multiple competing priorities on a daily basis.
Asset Experience
- Experience using SAP's Project Systems module.
*Significant experience is defined as two (2) to six (6) years.
Work Arrangements and Conditions
Location: Ottawa or Boucherville
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of remote and on-site). Employees working remotely will be required to come to the designated worksite at least 3 times per week or a minimum of 60% of their regular work schedule, at their own expense.
Employment Duration: Three (3) years, Term employment
Language Requirements: Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB
Security: Reliability Status
Compensation
CAD $68,047 to $80,289 per year, plus a $800 annual bilingualism bonus.
