Overview

The People Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a dual role in supporting the success of our manufacturing facility. You will drive efficient HR operations and lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for National Pen.

People Operations Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations and compliance.
  • Assist with performance management, development planning, and training coordination.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support audits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.

Talent Acquisition Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for various roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements.
  • Source candidates using job boards, social media, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and coordinate interviews.
  • Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical roles.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people operations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
