About the Graduate Development Program
Find your superpower with the National Grid Graduate Development Program. This year-long program is for recent college graduates who aspire to future leadership roles in a dynamic energy industry. You will gain exposure across the company, network with peers and leaders, and travel throughout the Northeast US.
Program Structure
The program begins with a 3-week in-person Orientation. After orientation, you will start a full-time role and participate in quarterly development sessions, active mentorship, and a Hackathon Project. Your journey includes two 6-month placements, with the first half focused on your primary role in the US Policy & Regulatory Strategy team and the second half offering broader experience in strategy and regulation.
About the Role
As an Associate Analyst, you will support the US Policy & Regulatory Strategy team by:
- Conducting in-depth research and quantitative analysis on regulatory, market, and policy trends.
- Preparing presentations, reports, and regulatory filings for diverse stakeholders.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to evaluate industry trends.
- Assisting in the design and editing of legislation, regulations, and tariffs.
What You’ll Need
A bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, public policy, engineering, or a related field is required. Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus. Applicants must have graduated between May 2025 and June 2026, be able to start the program on June 8, 2026 or July 13, 2026, possess a valid driver’s license, and have work authorization in the United States without sponsorship requirements.
Work Arrangement & Salary
This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the office. Salary ranges by location:
- Brooklyn, NY: $73,000 - $86,000
- Waltham, MA: $68,000 - $80,000
