Overview

The Campaign Engagement and Marketing team at National Geographic Society drives the strategy, development, and execution of a major fundraising campaign. The Senior Manager, Advancement Digital Engagement & Personalization role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive digital content strategy to deepen donor and partner engagement by leveraging digital tools including a Customer Data Platform (CDP) and AI-driven personalization.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Engagement Strategy (40%): Develop and execute tailored digital strategies for donor and partner engagement, promote cross-division collaboration, and research emerging digital tools.
  • Digital Content Execution (40%): Oversee high-impact email newsletters and innovative digital experiences such as interactive reports and dynamic stewardship communications.
  • Performance Optimization (20%): Establish KPIs, analyze digital performance metrics, and recommend process improvements.

Educational & Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. 7+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range ($109,200 - $115,000) and a holistic benefits package including insurance, retirement, paid time off, wellness programs, and various perks.

Work Arrangement

This is a Hybrid role requiring in-office work at Base Camp two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday), with additional days optional.
