How You’ll Contribute

The Advancement team cultivates and stewards donors and partners to drive impact through science, technology, education, exploration, and storytelling. The team collaborates with various Society teams and partners, including Disney, building transformative strategic partnerships and producing global events that deepen connections. They also direct annual, major, and planned giving programs.

Your Impact

This role supports the Vice President, Leadership Giving, along with critical support throughout the fundraising cycle—from cultivation to stewardship—and manages benefits fulfillment for Leadership Giving recognitions.

Responsibilities Include

Administrative Support (60%)
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for the Vice President, Leadership Giving.
  • Book travel and manage expense reports.
  • Coordinate with executive assistants and support teams.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence.
  • Maintain donor communications and update Raiser’s Edge records.
  • Manage digital files for easy access.
Administrative and Operational Coordination (40%)
  • Coordinate production of solicitations and proposals.
  • Compile and distribute executive briefing materials.
  • Support onboarding and tracking for Leadership Giving recognition societies.
  • Assist with donor event support as necessary.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years professional experience; Advancement background preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and video conferencing tools.
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is a plus.

Job Designation

This is a Hybrid role, requiring presence at Base Camp on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
