The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis at National Football League (NFL) manages companywide budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews. This role drives growth in a dynamic business of sports environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead consolidation of global financial statements.
- Manage multiple proforma P&Ls and identify efficiency opportunities.
- Prepare executive presentations on results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Drive competitive benchmarking and strategic growth recommendations.
- Directly manage and develop a new Senior Coordinator.
- Support process improvements within a broader finance transformation project.
- Assist quarterly business reviews with key business driver analysis.
- Manage annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and long range planning.
- Collect and analyze financial data for comprehensive cash projections.
- Handle special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 7-10+ years in budgeting, forecasting, and analytics.
- Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial modeling and using planning software (e.g., Vena Solutions, Oracle Essbase, IBM Cognos T1).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
Work Environment
