Quality Control Supervisor

Sundance Beverage Company, a part of the National Beverage family, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This 2nd shift position involves testing and sampling products to ensure a safe, flavorful, and quality product that meets specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate HACCP compliance
  • Oversee product sampling and analysis process
  • Participate in microbiological control program
  • Ensure product quality and safety via testing
  • Calculate adjustments to batches and alter productions
  • Participate in quality and sanitation programs
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and implement corrective actions
  • Supervise three lab techs, product compounding, and pasteurization
  • Collaborate with other departments for production quality
  • Assist in production supervision as needed
  • Facilitate regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
  • Three or more years of supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven QC experience
  • Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, and HACCP (Certification a plus)
  • Experience in a food production facility is a plus
  • Availability to work flexible hours
