Quality Control Supervisor
Sundance Beverage Company, a part of the National Beverage family, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor with previous quality control experience in the food industry. This 2nd shift position involves testing and sampling products to ensure a safe, flavorful, and quality product that meets specifications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate HACCP compliance
- Oversee product sampling and analysis process
- Participate in microbiological control program
- Ensure product quality and safety via testing
- Calculate adjustments to batches and alter productions
- Participate in quality and sanitation programs
- Conduct environmental monitoring and implement corrective actions
- Supervise three lab techs, product compounding, and pasteurization
- Collaborate with other departments for production quality
- Assist in production supervision as needed
- Facilitate regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and troubleshooting skills
- Proven QC experience
- Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, and HACCP (Certification a plus)
- Experience in a food production facility is a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours
