About the Role
The Billing Systems Configuration Analyst at Natera supports insurance billing processes and systems configuration. In this high-growth role, you will collaborate with Finance, IT, and Engineering to enhance and automate key Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes while functioning as a key member of reimbursement related functions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain billing system parameters for accurate, timely billing.
- Monitor and analyze billing system processes and performance to correct errors.
- Implement continuous process and quality improvements for billing systems.
- Update and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for billing system users.
- Prepare updates and progress reports to leadership and executives.
- Collaborate on billing processes to ensure accurate and timely billings.
- Participate in training for revenue cycle management and claims denial processes.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA/PHI and complete required training within 30 days.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, health sciences, health insurance, healthcare billing/claims, systems administration, and revenue cycle management (RCM). CPC certification is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong commitment, self-motivation, and drive to succeed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic SQL proficiency and knowledge of query writing.
- Experience with enterprise-level billing systems and ERPs is a plus.
- Exposure to Patient Management (PM) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD, Power BI, Snowflake, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence is an advantage.
