Job Overview
The Technical Onboarding Specialist is responsible for onboarding new and existing customers onto the Nasdaq Trade Surveillance Software as a Service (SaaS). This role involves managing customer and internal stakeholder relationships, performing hands-on technical integration, and conducting data testing to ensure a smooth onboarding process. You can expect an autonomous, fast-paced environment where your results are recognized, and you have daily opportunities to learn, grow, and make a global impact.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Conduct regular meetings with customers from post-sales to go-live.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and deliver tailored project plans to customers.
- Comprehend and explain Nasdaq Data Specifications to customers.
- Understand client requirements and draft change requests to best suit their needs.
Implementation:
- Assist customers with data mapping and exchange-specific queries.
- Perform data quality tests on customer data and resolve issues collaboratively.
- Set up application configurations based on customer requirements and data quality.
- Prepare customer sign-off documents and manage go-live activities post-UAT.
- Implement changes as per change request documents and perform necessary testing.
Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with functional analysts, sales, support, and development teams for smooth onboarding.
- Work with customers and functional analysts on requirement gathering, analysis, and drafting change requests.
Planning and Reporting:
- Provide weekly project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- In-depth expertise in Capital Markets, UNIX, and Customer Management.
- Minimum three years of experience in the Capital Markets domain (Equities, Futures, Options, etc.).
- Minimum three years of experience with Unix/Linux commands (basic to advanced).
- Understanding of OTC markets (Forex, Fixed Income, etc.).
- Understanding of trading protocols like FIX, Omnet.
- Prior experience with version control tools like GIT.
- Understanding of regular expressions.
- Excellent communication and professional skills at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Outstanding customer management and negotiation skills.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Certification and effectiveness in desktop project management tools, including Excel.
