Senior Project Manager at Nasdaq

Nasdaq Technology is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Customer Delivery Center in Mumbai, India. This role is ideal for individuals driven by customer success and business growth, focusing on robust project management practices and governance.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing complex projects of varying scales for both new and existing customers. The aim is to bolster the Project Management team by delivering projects across critical capital market (Calypso) and regulatory (AxiomSL) solutions.

Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of project management, including effective communication with both customers and internal stakeholders, managing project budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, leading steering committees, ensuring stringent project governance, coordinating resources, and guaranteeing the timely delivery of projects.

This division's core mission is to continuously enhance the Nasdaq Customer experience through a strategic, customer-centric approach, concentrating on driving customer adoption and retention. The Customer Success division comprises several organizations including Customer Delivery, Cloud Services, Calypso Learning Services, Customer Support, and Customer Success Management, all dedicated to managing the customer’s journey at Nasdaq.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage, plan, monitor, and coordinate large projects independently to ensure high client and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure project artifacts such as risks, issues, actions, costs, schedules, and benefits are meticulously detailed and supervised.
  • Lead and effectively coordinate resources with customers and colleagues.
  • Guarantee project plan obligations are met regarding specifications, quality, costs, and timeframes, delivering as per the agreed contract within budget and schedule.
  • Provide relevant and appropriate management information and reports to customers on a regular basis.
  • Apply relevant governance bodies and steering committees for their established purpose.
  • Chair appropriate governance meetings, ensuring outputs and artifacts are produced and distributed.
  • Ensure project closure according to required procedures, including post-implementation reviews.
  • Deliver and complete simultaneous projects of varying complexity according to established standards, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Lead multi-faceted project deliveries.

What We Expect From You

  • At least 10 years of solid experience as a Project Manager.
  • Proficient in both PMI and Agile methodologies; CSM and PMP certifications are required.
  • Experience in working with MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence is preferred.
  • Experience in developing, analyzing, and supervising financial business cases.
  • Ability to effectively present to and positively influence project stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt as priorities change to meet demands.
  • A fair understanding of capital markets and financial technology.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as the need arises.

Education Required

Bachelor's degree or Master’s qualified in a related discipline, or relevant and proven project delivery success.
