About the Senior Intelligence Specialist Role
Nasdaq is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Intelligence Specialist to lead intelligence operations, support strategic decision-making, and proactively identify risks and opportunities. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, deep geopolitical and threat environment knowledge, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage intelligence-gathering operations using OSINT, HUMINT, vendor networks, governmental agencies, and technical sources.
- Analyze emerging threats such as geopolitical, cybersecurity, terrorism, and economic risks.
- Produce timely and accurate intelligence briefings, reports, and alerts for executives and stakeholders.
- Monitor global developments and conduct trend analysis to forecast potential risks.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, legal, and business continuity teams.
- Develop and sustain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and intelligence networks.
- Support crisis response and incident management with real-time intelligence.
- Perform threat assessments for travel events, office locations, and special events.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies or a related field; minimum 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis; strong writing, research, and briefing skills; experience briefing senior government officials/executive management; proven ability to produce actionable intelligence; ability to maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred: Advanced degree in a related field; experience in government, military, law enforcement or corporate security; international travel experience; familiarity with cyber threat intelligence and geopolitical risk tools; prior active or held security clearance.

Work Environment and Conditions
This role is primarily remote with some in person office hours and occasional domestic and international travel. Candidates may be required to be available outside regular business hours during critical incidents.
