About Nasdaq MarketSite Events – Event Producer

Role Overview
The Nasdaq Events Team plays a crucial role in supporting and collaborating with our internal business partners to manage and execute events for listed and newly listed companies, as well as client meetings at Nasdaq MarketSite. As part of our ongoing global expansion, we are seeking an Event Producer to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in supporting Nasdaq’s value proposition by planning and successfully coordinating daily Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies for a diverse range of global clients, as well as managing the coordination and execution of events within our premier event space in Times Square.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Issuer and Non-Issuer Related Events, including Opening/Closing Bell ceremonies for companies below $5B market cap at the MarketSite.
- Produce live broadcast and recorded programs, such as daily Nasdaq Opening & Closing Bell Ceremonies, client interviews, and First Trade Celebrations for companies below $5B market cap.
- Plan and execute a variety of events including analyst days, press conferences, receptions, cocktail parties, dinners, and product launches for both issuers and non-issuers, as well as internal and external meetings.
- Collaborate across departments including Catering, AV, Broadcast, Facilities, and Creative Teams to ensure seamless event planning, management, and execution.
- Coordinate and lead tours and photo opportunities for visiting groups.
- Deliver superior customer service and hospitality to all clients, focusing on building and strengthening relationships with issuers and non-issuers to drive revenue and repeat visits.
- Liaise with various vendors to identify innovative marketing strategies and generate awareness of MarketSite, ultimately growing sales revenue.
- Manage daily bookings for MarketSite Opening/Closing bell ceremonies, often requiring rapid response to short-notice availabilities.
- Proactively identify timely global events that can be leveraged for booking Opening/Closing bell ceremonies and events within 24-48 hours' notice.
- Embrace new, impactful initiatives and demonstrate a strong curiosity for learning and development.
- Educate the broader Nasdaq organization on the strategic utilization of MarketSite to enhance exposure and revenue.
- Develop creative approaches for clients to leverage their Opening/Closing bell ceremonies or events for brand promotion.
- Enhance visibility for Nasdaq, its client base, and external parties by promoting all aspects of MarketSite.
Qualifications
This is an exciting opportunity within a growing business, ideal for a dedicated self-starter with exceptional communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Hospitality.
- Experience: 2 – 4 years in event management, client relations, and/or broadcast production.
- Client Facing Skills: Must possess excellent written and spoken communication skills, be adept at making effective presentations in high-pressure situations, and comfortable interfacing with C-level executives.
- Decision-Making & Workload Management: Demonstrated sound decision-making ability and strong workload management skills. Must be able to multi-task, develop comprehensive marketing project timelines, anticipate potential obstacles, and propose effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Ability to act as a liaison across various departments, and with sales and marketing teams, to ensure effective information sharing and event awareness.
- Helpful Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Monday.com.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office after an initial 90-day onboarding period, during which 5 days in the office will be required.

Base Pay Range: $79,000 - $138,000 annually. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive) and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and ample opportunities for growth. Specific compensation will vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, business needs, and market conditions.
