Job Overview
The DevOps Engineer Senior Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, testing, automating, and operating the infrastructure that supports Nasdaq’s cutting-edge solutions. Working closely with engineering teams, the role focuses on delivering high quality and efficient support during US night hours and enhancing application infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and answering support calls during US night hours.
- Providing prompt resolution to urgent production issues.
- Facilitating collaboration between software development and IT operations teams.
- Enhancing applications with process automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructural enhancements and code-based management using AWS, Terraform, containers, and more.
Required Skills and Experience
Must have at least 7 years as a DevOps engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java development, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), SQL, and scripting with Linux. Proficiency with multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Python, HTML, React JS) is essential.
Preferred Experience
Good to have expertise includes Equities trading, high-throughput real-time applications, Spring frameworks, Kafka, Maven, Git, and web security measures.
Education & Additional Information
