Job Description

The Role of an Account Manager at Nasdaq

Nasdaq eVestment is seeking an Account Manager to manage relationships with sophisticated Asset Owners and Asset Allocators across EMEA. This role is dedicated to building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships and high satisfaction with senior-level decision makers within an assigned portfolio of customer accounts. You will drive demand for Nasdaq's products and services by enhancing their profile with customers, achieving revenue targets through increased spend per account. Regular strategic meetings with senior management will be crucial to understanding client needs and aligning them with the organization's product and service strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure maximum business value from the application.
  • Cover new and expanded clients in EMEA, with a specific focus on the Middle East region.
  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, tracking client pulse and optimizing product/service utilization.
  • Monitor and recommend strategies to increase user usage and adoption.
  • Coordinate internal implementation, reporting, training, and product resources as required.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to identify and pursue client upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct strategic business reviews to assess progress, identify improvements, and maintain key client metrics.
  • Manage multiple projects, responsibilities, and competing priorities effectively.
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with all terms.
  • Prepare various reports to manage and understand clients, including top clients, at-risk accounts, quality of success, and implementation stages.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer success, or relationship management within a financial software company or asset management firm, ideally with endowments, foundations, family offices, fund-of-funds, or OCIO shops.
  • Superb relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse sales/technical contributors.
  • A consultative sales and account management approach, strategic thinking, and deal-closing skills.
  • Comfortable leading client calls and adept at conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter eager to learn the business rapidly.

Nice To Have

  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (highly beneficial).
  • Strong understanding of institutional investment markets.
  • In-depth understanding of Middle East market dynamics, cultural nuances, and business landscapes.
