Job Description

The Cloud Engineer Intern will support the IT and infrastructure team in managing and optimizing cloud-based solutions across multiple platforms. This role is designed for skill development and hands-on learning in cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in deploying and managing cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Support infrastructure monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Learn and apply scripting for automation using Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Participate in configuring virtual machines, storage, and databases.
  • Support the implementation of security policies and access control.
  • Collaborate on real-time cloud projects and documentation.
  • Assist in resource optimization and cost tracking.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing principles.
  • Familiarity with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Awareness of networking, OS fundamentals, and system security.
  • Strong curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in cloud fundamentals (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud deployment tools or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and cloud automation.
  • Relevant coursework or projects in cloud technology.
