Job Description

As an Associate Staff Engineer, NodeJs at Nagarro, you will be responsible for writing and reviewing quality code, designing technical solutions, and ensuring that all architectural and design benchmarks are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years total experience
  • Hands-on experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, and Databases
  • Strong working experience in TypeScript
  • Expertise in Microservices Architecture (MSA) and GraphQL implementation
  • Experience in Automation Testing (Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, Selenium)
  • Understanding of CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native deployments
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of authentication protocols, API security, and message queues
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review and produce high-quality code
  • Translate business use cases into robust technical designs
  • Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements
  • Draft and review design documents and architecture
  • Resolve issues with systematic root cause analyses
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) for new technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
