Overview
The Senior Product Security Engineer at N26 is responsible for driving the product security strategy and integrating advanced security practices into a diverse product portfolio including cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLM). You will independently ensure robust security across microservices, mobile applications, and AI-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of advanced security practices into our product lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams through threat modeling, security design reviews, and code reviews.
- Develop automation frameworks to support the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Conduct expert penetration testing and proactive research on emerging security threats.
- Safeguard sensitive data and address security risks for AI-driven products.
What You Need to Succeed
- Expertise in software engineering with languages like Python or Go.
- Extensive experience in threat modeling, security testing, and vulnerability assessment.
- Strong background in cloud, web, mobile security, and microservice architectures.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
