About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Product Security Engineer to empower our engineering teams in designing and building secure software across a diverse product portfolio. This role integrates advanced security practices into cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, Large Language Models, and data governance systems, while securing microservice architectures and mobile applications. You will collaborate with N26's Security Engineering Segment to embed security in every stage of the product lifecycle.
As we adopt emerging AI technologies, your work will safeguard sensitive data, align with data governance principles, and address AI-specific risks. Additionally, you will enhance our Product Security Programs by providing proactive guidance to engineering teams to anticipate and counter evolving threats.
In This Role, You Will
- Apply security architecture expertise to secure products and services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure design, threat modeling, and code reviews.
- Conduct penetration testing for both AI-powered and traditional applications.
- Develop automation tools to support the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Educate teams on secure coding practices and AI-specific security challenges.
- Perform incident response and research emerging attack vectors.
Background And Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
- Experience with threat modeling, security testing, and vulnerability analysis.
- Expertise in building automation for SSDLC and secure code reviews.
- Strong knowledge in cloud, mobile, web application, and AI-driven product security.
- Familiarity with static/dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and OWASP Top 10 standards.
