About Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview

This remote Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer role (Night Shift: 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM) is key in resolving complex customer issues and ensuring platform reliability. You will diagnose escalated tickets, collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, refine coding and debugging skills, and contribute to internal software projects.

We value innovators and problem-solvers. For example, when faced with a high-priority ticket, you may reproduce the issue, review logs and code, analyze SQL queries, and communicate clearly with the customer while working with Engineering for a permanent fix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose escalated tickets using logs, SQL, and code analysis.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve high-priority issues.
  • Work with Product teams on critical customer feedback and enhancements.
  • Contribute to developing internal software tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in SQL, code reading, and debugging.
  • Strong grasp of at least one object-oriented language.
  • Quick learner with a passion for technology.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Java coding.
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
  • Utilization of debugging tools, Postman, and Jira.
