Overview

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, join the Patient-Centered Research (PCR) group to drive clinical outcome assessments (COA) strategy and lead patient experience research on a global scale. The role is fully remote and focuses on research, scientific leadership, strategy and mentoring junior staff.

Work Schedule & Environment

Standard work schedule (Mon-Fri) in an office environment, while the position is fully remote.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research Project Delivery: Develop and maintain research portfolio, ensure quality deliverables within budget.
  • Science: Provide expert consultation, lead quantitative and qualitative analyses, maintain high external visibility through publications and presentations.
  • Strategy/Consulting: Contribute to scientific direction, engage with regulatory bodies, develop innovative projects and support business development.
  • Managerial Duties: Mentor junior staff, participate in recruitment, uphold scientific training and excellence.

Educational and Professional Requirements

PhD with 10+ years' experience or MA with 15+ years in health outcomes and patient-centered research. Must demonstrate a track record of scientific publications and effective client consulting. Proficiency in MS Word, PPT, Excel and familiarity with data analysis software like SAS is required.
