Commercial Analyst

Overview

The Commercial Analyst role at Commercial Analyst works with Thermo Fisher Scientific, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. The role involves leading cross-functional proposal processes, stakeholder management, and ensuring that contract proposals and modifications are completed accurately throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead proposal bid and budget negotiation processes.
• Synthesize client requirements with internal data and stakeholder input.
• Review RFP information for budget preparation.
• Coordinate bidding strategy calls and develop/modifiy budget strategies.
• Utilize bidding systems to map data accurately within client grid templates.
• Finalize documents for distribution ensuring quality control and compliance.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic or vocational qualification; 0 to 5 years of relevant experience; at least 1 year with leadership responsibility.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Effective partnering and client relationship skills.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and project administration capability.

Working Conditions

This position is based in an office environment with frequent use of office equipment and travel, both domestic and international.
