Amazon's LATAM Marketplace team is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to design and implement BI solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights for the LATAM region. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Management: Optimize SQL queries, maintain ETL processes, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Business Intelligence Development: Design self-service reporting platforms, automate data analysis, and build dashboards.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Convert business requirements into analytical solutions and coordinate with global teams.
  • Technical Infrastructure: Manage local data systems, implement best practices, and ensure system performance.

About the Team

The LATAM Marketplace BI team focuses on enabling data-driven decisions through structured BI roadmaps and stakeholder engagement. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you may handle one or more business verticals, overseeing data setup, analysis, and dashboard creation.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of data analysis experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Expertise in SQL, Tableau/Quicksight, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
  • Scripting experience in Python for data processing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge in data mining and handling large-scale datasets in a business environment.
