Its affiliate, Yamasho Inc., based in Elk Grove, IL, provides a wide range of restaurant items.
Position Summary
The Japanese Bilingual Sales Manager leads the Sales Department to achieve revenue goals and expand market share by setting targets, coaching the sales team, fostering customer relationships, and coordinating across departments.
Essential Job Functions
The role involves Sales Leadership & Strategy, Team Development & Management, Customer & Vendor Relations, and Compliance & Operations.
- Sales Leadership & Strategy: Set quotas, develop strategies, analyze data, and attend trade shows.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, supervise, and provide feedback to the sales team.
- Customer & Vendor Relations: Assist with account strategies, negotiations, and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Operations: Manage inventory counts, operate a company vehicle, and attend events as required.
- Physical and Other Requirements: Maintain physical stamina, communication skills, valid driver's license, and ability to work weekends or holidays.
Knowledge and Skills
Candidates should have over 5 years of field sales and managerial experience, strong communication, mentoring, Microsoft Office proficiency, and preferably knowledge of ERP systems and Japanese foods/liquors.
