Overview

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a strategic, multi-disciplinary Domain Architect to design integrated, scalable, and secure technology solutions across application, data, and integration layers. This role supports our Emerging & Strategic Solutions Agile Release Train (ART) with a focus on delivering stable, secure systems that power Financial Solutions offerings for Institutional Annuity & Investment products.

What You Will Do

As the Lead Architect Emerging Strategic Solutions, you will:

  • Define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for the ART.
  • Lead design and implementation of end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Align technology decisions with business priorities and domain standards.
  • Drive technological innovation and oversee solution governance.
  • Partner with stakeholders and mentor teams in agile delivery ceremonies.
  • Manage lifecycle evolution including modernization and cloud migration.

What We Can Offer You

An attractive compensation package with an estimated salary range of $160,000 to $185,000 plus an annual bonus, 401(k) plan with company contributions, and work-life balance benefits.

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience across multiple domains.
  • Deep knowledge in financial services, especially Institutional Annuity & Investment products.
  • Expertise in domain-driven design, event-based systems, and modern API development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.

Preferred Qualifications

TOGAF certification, Financial Services industry expertise, and familiarity with AWS, Kafka, and MuleSoft.
