Job Description
About the EDI Technician - Remote Role
As an EDI Technician, you will monitor and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) eligibility files. You will analyze EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and proper function, contributing to the team’s success through accurate and timely eligibility processing and file maintenance.

Competitive estimated hourly wage ($22.75 - $25.00) plus annual bonus opportunity. Benefit package includes a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% match, along with work-life balance benefits such as vacation, personal time, and paid holidays.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and process eligibility discrepancies accurately.
- Evaluate and maintain employee eligibility per contracts and legal requirements.
- Review data submissions and initiate correspondence for missing information.
- Understand various file types and their impact on eligibility processing.
- Utilize applications including COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, and Employer Access.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of one year of prior EDI experience with strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.
- Professional customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with exceptional data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for diverse audiences.
- High organization and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and adapting quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection and be located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with eligibility applications like COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, and Employer Access.
- Knowledge of eligibility requirements, contract provisions, and relevant federal/state laws.
