About the Role

The Sr. Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst Power BI at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage focuses on developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to business leaders. This role goes beyond presenting data by using visualization best practices and data storytelling to help drive organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with business leaders to understand reporting needs
  • Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Migrate existing reporting to a centralized semantic model
  • Maintain and update semantic models for enhanced performance
  • Analyze trends and share insights on KPIs
  • Document processes and maintain report changelogs
  • Provide team support and backfill as needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years in a data or business intelligence role
  • 3+ years in Power BI dashboard and report development
  • Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, visualization techniques)
  • Intermediate SQL proficiency for data mining and report creation
  • Strong written and verbal communication
