About The Team
Enterprise Security builds the products that let CISOs and IT admins trust Mural with their most sensitive work. The team owns capabilities like DLP policy management, SIEM integrations, audit logging, data residency controls, and customer-managed encryption. This team is receiving expanded investment and focus, with clear visibility on enterprise revenue.
Your Mission
As the Engineering Manager, Security, you will build and lead the team responsible for Mural's enterprise security product suite. You will drive technical direction for products serving IT admins and CISOs while partnering with a seasoned PM. In your first year, you will ship DLP and real-time SIEM integrations and establish Enterprise Security as a standalone product area with its own roadmap, directly influencing ARR and deal wins.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical execution hands-on, contributing code alongside your team (30-40% involvement).
- Ship the security roadmap with DLP policy management and real-time SIEM integrations in 6-12 months.
- Build a team with clear ownership and establish key performance metrics.
- Partner deeply with Product, ensuring technical feasibility and customer signals drive decisions.
- Ensure enterprise-grade operational excellence by meeting audit, compliance, and uptime standards.
What You'll Bring
- Enterprise security product experience with capabilities like DLP, SIEM, and audit logging.
- Deep technical expertise with 5+ years shipping production code (Node.js/TypeScript, React preferred).
- Engineering leadership experience managing teams of 3+ with a record of shipping complex products.
- Outcome orientation and experimental use of AI tools.
- Ownership and clarity in guiding team outcomes and defining metrics.
- Remote-first fluency in async communication and team cohesion tools.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity
