Overview
The Lending Sales Assistant supports the Lending Sales Team by handling member applications, scheduling appointments, managing documentation, reporting, and referral tracking. The role focuses on administrative support while ensuring compliance with MCU policies, third-party loan policies, and federal, state, and NCUA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist lending team with member applications, calls, and scheduling.
- Pre-qualify applicants and take applications over the phone.
- Prepare sales tracking reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Manage document scanning/uploading and pipeline tracking.
- Coordinate communications between team, members, and processors.
- Support promotional activities and cross-sell products.
- Maintain databases and perform general clerical functions.
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance training is followed.
- Back-up team operations as needed.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year in a lending origination environment.
- Familiarity with DocMagic and NMLS is a plus.
- Technologically proficient and able to work in a high-volume environment.
