About the Role
MULTIVAC, Inc., an industry leader in packaging solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager Food Processing & Packaging Equipment Great Lakes to generate capital equipment sales to both prospective and existing food industry customers in Michigan and Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through customer visits and lead follow-ups.
- Achieve territory bookings and invoiced sales goals.
- Create and manage travel schedules to maximize customer contacts.
- Prepare detailed proposals/quotes in accordance with customer requirements.
- Manage customer expectations through coordination with internal departments.
- Leverage CRM, marketing tools, demonstration facilities, and support staff.
- Participate in developing and executing a territory business plan and budget.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred. Consultative capital equipment sales experience required. Engineering or technical background is a plus. Ideal candidates have at least five years' experience selling large packaging or processing equipment to food-related facilities.
Work Arrangement & Travel
This position involves approximately 80% travel and the remainder remote work. Candidates must reside within 45 minutes of a major airport and have a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs, trade shows, and meetings.
