Original Job Summary
Role
To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Comply with laws, statutes, rules and credit union regulations including Bank Secrecy Act provisions of the US Patriot Act.
- Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
- Welcome members, provide routine service information, and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
- Cross-sell credit union services.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience: Up to six months of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
