The Role: SRE Trading AWS (Hedge Fund)
We are seeking a Senior SRE to work on critical trading systems, collaborating closely with quantitative researchers and traders. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and automation of the fund's sophisticated financial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and testing procedures.
- Administer and optimize the AWS cloud environment, with a particular focus on EKS for container orchestration.
- Design resilient data pipelines capable of handling both real-time and batch processing requirements.
- Ensure the highest levels of reliability, comprehensive monitoring, and performance optimization across all systems.
- Implement and enforce best practices for security within the infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate effectively with developers to enhance system automation and integration.
- Work in synergy with international technical teams to ensure efficient coordination of infrastructure and deployment projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, specifically within the finance sector.
- Expertise: Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Experience: Proven background in market finance.
- Scripting: Proficient in Python or Bash.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Language: Fluent in English.
