About the Role
Mozilla seeks a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer - IAM to lead the modernization of its Identity and Access Management system. The candidate will architect and guide a redesign that focuses on scalability, security, and usability, while working within the Site Reliability Engineering team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering with 5+ focused on IAM systems
- Expertise in authentication, authorization and access governance
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native technologies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the redesign of the IAM system
- Drive technical decision-making and mentor team members
- Collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive platform delivery
- Champion automation and self-service initiatives
- Document best practices and resolve technical challenges
