About the Laboratory Specialist Fellowship at Movement Labs

At Movement Labs, our mission is to affordably and provably scale people power. Join our fellowship to gain skills and knowledge in the progressive electoral and digital organizing space, while contributing to stopping extreme political agendas and helping Democrats win across the ballot.

What You’ll Do

This 8-month fellowship runs from March 30 to November 20, requiring 30-40 hours per week during core hours (9am-6pm local time) in a continental US timezone. Fellows work full time in a supportive, cohort-based professional development program. You will be embedded in a department and participate in community trainings, regular huddles, and mentorship sessions.

Roles and Pathways

• Experiments: Conduct research and study large voter contact program data.
• Program: Support data collection, analysis, and validation for campaign success.
• Contest Every Race: Create content, manage digital campaigns, and support public events.
• People Team: Assist with hiring, research, and policy rollout, and manage internal projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional experience.
• Interest in progressive politics, campaigns, or organizing.
• Commitment to fulltime work and participation in all fellowship activities.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

General Skills

Passion for progressive politics, data and technology driven organizing, and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, remote environment.
