We are looking for an experienced Matillion Administrator to join our data team. As a Matillion Admin, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining our Matillion ETL environment to support smooth and efficient data integration, transformation, and ingestion processes across the organization. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure the scalability, stability, and security of our ETL platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the Matillion ETL environment.
• Oversee and manage Matillion upgrades, patches, and configurations to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor Matillion ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor the performance of ETL jobs and resource usage to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Perform performance tuning, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for enhancing the efficiency of data processing.
• Manage ETL job scheduling, job dependencies, and ensure adherence to SLAs. Maintain the schedule of data pipelines and ensure that jobs are executed without disruptions.
• Set up and manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions in the Matillion environment. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for data access and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and troubleshoot any data issues.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Matillion configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Work on integrating Matillion with other systems, such as Snowflake, AWS, or Azure.
• Automate ETL workflows and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ETL administration, with at least 1-2 years in Matillion Administration.
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL for data integration, transformation, and orchestration.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and integrating Matillion with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data transformation and querying.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to track system performance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Exposure to other data integration tools, such as Fivetran or DBT.
• Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Snowflake would be a plus.
