Primary Purpose

The Quality Assurance Technician - Day Shift Trainee role is designed to complete training in various department aspects, ensuring food quality, safety, and compliance with S.O.P.s, FSIS Regulatory, Animal Welfare, and GFSI requirements. The role emphasizes product compliance to both internal and customer specifications.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor production processes to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Inform the supervisor immediately when product deviates from specifications.
  • Calibrate tools and equipment, perform technical projects and assignments.
  • Train and cross-train while performing regulatory, SSOP, SOP, and Quality Attribute testing.
  • Coordinate time management and participate in training to improve competencies.
  • Follow all Company safety regulations, S.O.P.s, and support the Goal Zero mission.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions and training.
  • Basic computer skills required; advanced training provided.
