Food & Nutrition Aide - Mount Sinai Morningside
This role involves preparing, portioning, transporting and serving food and beverages according to standardized recipes and menus.
Responsibilities
- Set up and serve special catering functions.
- Prepare, portion, transport, and serve food and beverages.
- Follow standardized recipes, menus and production sheets.
- Operate and clean equipment safely.
- Assemble patient trays accurately according to dietary prescriptions.
- Wash and prepare service ware and pots following sanitary standards.
- Maintain compliance with Policy, Procedures, HACCP, and NYSDOH guidelines.
- Handle storage, labeling and dating of foods appropriately.
- Dispose of waste properly and perform general cleaning of food service areas.
