About the Role
The Associate Researcher I Oncological Sciences will support basic and preclinical cancer epigenetics research. This full‑time position involves performing molecular and cell biology assays, in vivo mouse experiments, and maintaining lab operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform molecular and cell biology assays and mouse experiments (~60% workload).
- Maintain and manage the laboratory’s mouse colony, including husbandry, breeding, and genotyping.
- Oversee reagent and supply inventory; place and track orders.
- Prepare common reagent and cell line stocks.
- Support sample management and accurate record keeping.
- Maintain laboratory organization, documentation, and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
Applicants should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in science or a related field, with research experience preferred. Familiarity with mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology techniques such as PCR, electrophoresis, immunoblotting, and mouse handling is desired. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication abilities are a must. Knowledge in gene expression analysis, chromatin-based assays and next-generation sequencing is preferred.

Compensation
The salary range is $58,661 to $77,125.98 annually, based on experience, education, and operational need.
