Job Description
As the IT ServiceNow Administrator at Motorola Solutions, based in India and primarily working US hours, you will join our IT Service Management DevOps team. Your responsibilities include developing new solutions to automate and enhance the off-the-shelf ServiceNow product, collaborating with stakeholders to capture requirements, designing solutions with the team, validating solutions pre-deployment, troubleshooting issues, and providing frontline customer support for ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution design sessions with stakeholders.
- Prepare technical specifications, process flows, and design documents.
- Build applications and automation using ServiceNow platform programming skills.
- Validate solutions with stakeholders before deployment.
- Manage support tickets and perform administrative tasks during US hours.
- Troubleshoot ServiceNow issues and ensure timely resolutions.
- Provide frontline support to ServiceNow users.
Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills
Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and technical documentation is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Must Have Skills
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, mobile apps, web apps, HTML5/CSS3, JSON, XML, and REST API.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for ServiceNow issues.
- Experience in providing customer and frontline support for ServiceNow.
- Ability to work primarily US hours.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) are preferred.
Basic Requirements
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of ServiceNow Development experience, a Master’s degree with 1+ year, or an Associate degree with 5+ years of software engineering experience (with 3+ years in ServiceNow). Alternatively, 4+ years of relevant ServiceNow experience focusing on development will be considered.
