About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Motive, you will be the cornerstone of our internal cloud DevOps infrastructure. You will build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platforms powering our Employee Experience and Productivity (EEP) products. What You’ll Do

  • Architect & Innovate: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and robust APIs.
  • Automate Everything: Expand Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using Terraform for automated environments.
  • Ensure Peak Performance: Develop observability solutions to enhance monitoring and system uptime.
  • Lead Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve production issues with methodical troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate & Empower: Work with cross-functional teams to create efficient solutions and enhance processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) with expertise in containerization, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Proven experience in architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) and familiarity with tools like Copilot or Cursor.
  • A meticulous problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts and practical applications within modern infrastructure.

Bonus Skills

Experience with designing, operating, and securing cloud environments under regulatory frameworks such as SOX and SOC 2, and collaborating with auditors for compliance and certification. Full ownership of production and non-production environments including proactive incident management and security best practices is a plus.
