Summary
The Motion Automation Intelligence Automation Engineer role involves assisting clients with their automation challenges. The candidate will utilize technologies such as motion control systems, robotics, machine vision, precision mechatronics, and other industrial automation products.
Job Duties
- Articulate technical capabilities and deliver product demonstrations.
- Follow up, qualify sales leads, and travel to customer sites.
- Identify, contact, and develop new OEM clients.
- Provide commercial and technical support for new and existing applications.
- Communicate complex mechanical, electrical, and robotics concepts effectively.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3-5 years technical sales experience in the hi-tech automation industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Analytical mechanical/electrical understanding
- Strong verbal and written communication
- BSME or BSEE preferred
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management and multi-tasking
- Willingness to travel and collaborate
