Summary

The Industry Segment Manager strategically and tactically leads sales in the Food & Beverage industry for Motion.

Job Duties

70% Focus on Sales: Active selling through direct and joint sales calls with Motion branch, corporate teams, and Mi Conveyance Solutions representatives to drive new business and strengthen customer relationships. Develop, coordinate, and present industry segment focused sales and product training. Serve as the liaison between Mi Conveyance Solutions, the Motion branch network, and the corporate contracts team for your industry segment.

30% Focus on Marketing & Operations: Identify and develop marketing collateral and sales tools to support business development. Plan and participate in key trade shows and industry association events to boost brand visibility. Assess product inventory needs, manage vendor relationships for competitive pricing and quality products, design pricing strategies, execute sales programs, and monitor KPIs along with internal processes for continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Industry knowledge to support Corporate Account Managers, field associates, and customers.
