About the Role
Motion Recruitment is seeking a solid, entry-level QA Engineer to join an EdTech scale-up that recently secured $4M in expansion capital. This is a full-time, permanent, and 100% remote role within Australia, offering significant learning and development opportunities.
This innovative company has developed a centralized digital hub, enabling students, professors, alumni, and staff to access over 100 different backend systems through a single, intuitive interface. Given its use by universities and colleges, the team prioritizes security, accessibility, and ensuring seamless functionality across both mobile and desktop versions for all users.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and executing test plans to effectively identify and resolve bugs.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to establish robust testing strategies.
- Building automated tests to enhance process efficiency and speed.
- Documenting test results comprehensively and providing clear, actionable feedback to the team.
- Continuously seeking and implementing improvements to the overall testing process.
What You Need
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Experience working within Agile team environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes rather than just symptoms.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical issues clearly.
