This company has developed a campus platform designed to centralize the digital ecosystem for universities, replacing fragmented, outdated portals with a unified hub. Their platform seamlessly integrates various backend systems, ensuring a consistent and enhanced user experience for students and faculty alike.
The Full Stack Engineer Role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in building new web applications from the ground up. Your primary focus will involve developing multiple features for their single-page web application, engaging in a balanced mix of both front-end and back-end development using modern technologies such as Django and Angular.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and deploy clean, efficient code from your home office.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to define and implement optimal solutions for new features.
- Take full ownership of the development process, including rigorous testing and effective bug resolution.
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and smooth operation of existing codebase, continuously adopting new tools and technologies as the project evolves.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in building robust web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, particularly with modern frameworks like Angular.
- Demonstrated ability to build and integrate REST APIs.
- Experience working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
