Overview
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler I who can interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The role requires flexibility, resourcefulness, and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all planning and scheduling activities
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling tasks
- Implement corporate planning and ensure project compliance
- Supervise and mentor the scheduling team and field personnel
- Develop leadership potential through task assignments and career growth opportunities
- Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program
- Manage open shop and union issues
- Maintain relationships with customers, architects, union representatives, and subcontractors
- Provide work direction, performance evaluations and identify hiring needs
- Manage site work, logistics, and suggest improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Four years construction experience or equivalent training
- Experience as a project engineer is desirable
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Knowledge of scheduling concepts, construction practices, and 4D visual planning methodologies
- Familiarity with project management, contracts, and cost/resource loaded schedules
- Analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills

Compensation
The base pay range is $99,500 - $134,300, with variations by office location. Incentive plans are also available.
