At MoFo, your success story is part of our success. Join our Information Technology team as a Privacy & Data Security Analyst and help integrate privacy requirements within InfoSec operations. This role can be based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, or San Diego.
About The Role
The Privacy & Data Security Analyst is responsible for executing and coordinating day-to-day privacy operations within the Information Security function. You will work closely with the Data Governance Lead, GRC Lead, and Legal stakeholders to ensure privacy-by-design is integrated into Security-by-Design workflows, vendor reviews, and compliance initiatives.
- Operate the firm’s privacy intake process and track requests.
- Support privacy-by-design in security reviews with summaries and documentation.
- Coordinate privacy components for vendor onboarding and system changes.
- Conduct data inventory activities and maintain processing records.
- Support privacy notices updates, training programs, and incident documentation.
About You
You should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years experience in a similar role. Strong organizational skills, clear written communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 are required. Experience with privacy-by-design principles and vendor onboarding or data inventories is a plus.
