About The Role
As an Account Director at Morning Consult, you will drive the sales cycle for 1-5 assigned Fortune 500 clients. You will be responsible for achieving pipeline and growth targets by managing existing business, selling new solutions, and uncovering opportunities with new buyers.
- Lead consultative engagements with Heads of Brand, Insights, Marketing, and C-Suite.
- Manage full sales cycle from contact identification to deal closure.
- Maintain rigorous sales reporting and accurate CRM updates.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal and internal stakeholders to secure optimal contracts.
- Travel up to 30% as required for client engagements.
What You’ll Be Working On
You will drive sustainable growth by leveraging custom research and insights solutions. Collaborate across Commercial, Research, Data Operations, SaaS Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure clients get tailored, data-driven solutions.
About You And What You’ve Done
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in custom solutions or consultative services.
- Proven track record with multi-million-dollar deals and quota attainment.
- Strong familiarity with corporate marketing, communications, and brand functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent and a commitment to continuous learning.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range is $124,900 - $205,500, targeting a midpoint of $165,200. This role is also eligible for additional variable compensation and an equity grant. For more information, please refer to Morning Consult's Career Page.
