About the role
UAT Associate Wealth Management Platforms
Morgan Stanley India is seeking a User Acceptance Tester (UAT) Associate to join the Wealth Management Platforms group in Mumbai. This role supports senior leadership's vision by ensuring industry-leading digital platforms used by financial advisors, branch managers, support professionals, and clients are delivered seamlessly. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to the development of innovative financial services platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing: Understand business requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios, conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, and support production checkouts.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of platforms, applications, and peripheral systems to become a subject matter expert.
- Agile Collaboration: Work effectively within Agile Squads, liaise with Technology QA teams, and support Product Owners and Business Analysts.
- Test Planning: Create test plans, test cases, and scripts, including negative scenarios, to ensure systems meet end-user requirements and business standards.
- Defect Management: Support the review, prioritization, and management of defects.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively reflect on work accomplished, identify potential blockers, and define next steps for task completion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with stakeholders across different regions, demonstrating strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-7 years of experience in UAT, preferably in financial services or program management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent active listening, research, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
- Application and/or software testing experience.

- Experience with tools like Selenium, RestAssured, Gradle, Junit, GIT Stash, Jira, ALM, TeamCity.
- Experience with BDD and traditional SDLC.
- SQL scripting proficiency.
