About the Role
The Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst role at Morgan Stanley is part of the Cyber Mission Management team within the global Threat Hunting & Cybersecurity Detection organization. This role is essential in protecting the company, employees, clients, and communities from cyber-attacks.
Role Responsibilities
As a Strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will:
- Support daily MMC activities as the key regional contact.
- Coordinate threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and malware analysis.
- Collaborate with various cybersecurity functions to improve capabilities.
- Brief senior stakeholders and internal teams on the threat landscape.
- Track cyber metrics and provide summarized reports for leadership.
- Develop analytical products to aid tactical and operational mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 4 years' relevant experience in cybersecurity or threat intelligence roles. Key skills include effective communication with diverse stakeholders, deep knowledge of adversarial cyber tactics, and a solid understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Experience in an investment banking environment and certifications in security/intelligence are a plus.
