About the Role

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Quantitative Modelling Specialist to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this role, you will develop forecasting models and methodologies based on statistical and econometric methods, enhance and create new models for predicting the balance sheet and net revenue, test and automate model enhancements, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. You will monitor the performance of existing models on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

A Master0s degree in Economics, Math, Statistics or a related field is required. Strong knowledge in statistical modelling, econometrics, and proficiency in a programming language (R or Python) along with SQL is essential. The candidate must have strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with revenue forecasting, macroeconomic planning, or stress testing is a plus.
